President and CEO
Peninsula Ridge Estates Winery

Raised in Hamilton Ontario, Norm Beal's entrepreneurial spirit has brought him both professional and financial success in two very different fields. His first career was as a successful international oil trader working for Shell in Calgary and then for Glencore in Connecticut. As a lifestyle change and to pursue his passion for wine, he came back to Niagara to open a world-class winery that offers visitors an exceptional wine and culinary experience.

The Founders' Club of Peninsula Ridge (Peninsula Ridge Foundation)

As part of his commitment to the community, Norm initiated The Founder's Club of Peninsula Ridge to raise money for local charities and community projects. The club has pledged to raise $250,000 over five years from the proceeds of the annual Jazz on the Ridge gala to benefit the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital Foundation's capital campaign to build a new hospital for West Niagara . Since its inaugural year in 2002, Jazz on the Ridge has raised over $350,000 thanks to the extraordinary contributions of individuals and organizations. As a result of the event's success, The Founder's Club expanded its donation horizon to include Niagara West Community Hospice McNally House.
